More About the Artist

Mielke's paintings have been displayed at numerous music-driven pop-up art events and live environments, including larger festivals such as Burning ManHulaweenOkeechobeeZen AwakeningEarthdance, and Loveburn, where his work naturally resonates with the creative, sensory-rich atmosphere. Locally, his art has been showcased at markets and events throughout Safety Harbor, Dunedin, and St. Petersburg, Florida, expanding his presence across Florida’s vibrant arts and music communities.

Mielke is currently preparing a new body of work in collaboration with a curator from the Paul Silva Gallery, with plans underway for an exclusive solo exhibition in the coming year. Although he did not receive formal art school training, Mielke has been creatively inclined since childhood—nurturing his skills through experimentation, exploration, and an ever-deepening relationship with process, color, and expression.

Born in Connecticut and raised in Florida, Mielke has also lived in Atlanta and Ohio. His lifelong connection to music and entertainment ultimately led him into the professional world of live events, where he currently works as a member of IATSE, one of the 366 local unions representing more than 170,000 craftspeople and technicians in motion picture, television, broadcast, and live event production. This environment—rich with creativity, energy, and collaboration—continues to shape his artistic voice.

Mielke lives and works in Florida, producing paintings that merge movement, emotion, and imagination into vibrant, transformative visual experiences.
